If you shrink the arm, the forearm, wrist, and hands will all follow. Be sure to remember that all the children bones connected to what you scale will scale as well. Don’t click the apply option after you make your changes, it can fuck things up. Here’s where things come important, the scale field will resize your bones, making them bigger or smaller. Right clicking on these nodes, and going to transform -> edit, will bring up the menu you need to change the position and size of the node, and consequently, the size of that bone. If you click the arrows to see what child nodes it has, you’ll see additional bones (expand an arm, you’ll see forearm and hand bones for example). All the bones are interconnected, and you can click on one of the nodes to highlight it in the actual list of objects.
